We’re Excited to Welcome The Curtis Institute Back to Star Trek: The Cruise!

In 2024, Curtis Institute debuted multiple Star Trek inspired compositions onboard Star Trek: The Cruise VII, and we are so excited to have them back onboard Star Trek: The Cruise IX in 2026! 

John de Lancie brought this amazing group of musicians to our attention in 2024 with his strong connection to Curtis Institute of Music. John’s father attended Curtis Institute and went on to become the principal oboist for the Philadelphia Orchestra. John grew up attending concerts within Curtis Institute’s halls, and he wanted to share this love of music with all of us!  

Prepare to experience all-new Star Trek inspired works, performed live by some of the most talented young musicians in the country. These original compositions will premiere exclusively onboard Star Trek: The Cruise IX as a part of our celebration of Star Trek’s 60th anniversary.
